Villa Rosa agri-tourism is in a spectacular spot, looking right over the Gulf of Tigullio, on the top of Madonna della Neve hill, the highest in Lavagna. It's surrounded by extensive olive groves, from which superb extra-virgin oil is made. Our restaurant is just a few hundred yards from the sea and near several famous Ligurian spots of coast and countryside.

Our little restaurant Antica Liguria, at Via Aurelia 988, Lavagna, opened in 2005. Our family already had 15 years' experience running one of the best-known fishmonger's in Chiavari, so we had a deep knowledge of the fish caught in our Ligurian Sea, famous for its blue flag beaches, by men like dad Gianluigi. This, combined with mum Rosalba's passion for simple yet refined cooking and the striving by daughter Sara and son Umberto to carry on what they taught them, gave life to Antica Liguria, where we always search for the best ingredients.

Impronta d'Acqua is a concept, an idea born from the experiences of Ivan Maniago and the local traditions of the Rivera di Levante, whose seafood and meat ingredients, which are still often underused. So, we pay great attention to seafood products but also to land resources. Our cooking is based on carefully selected local produce, on which Ivan's places his personal stamp, to offer a fresh, satisfying restaurant experience that pleases the palates of the most demanding and curious. Raieü restaurant was opened in 1962, in the old town of Cavi di Lavagna, by grandmother Maria Dasso and grandfather Giulio Bo, in a building previously used as a fishmonger's. The interior was designed by an architect friend who decided to keep the furnishings in pure seafaring style, with wooden partitions and real lamps from anchovy-fishing boats, now worn out by sea salt. Success was instant and in the following years our restaurant got numerous prizes, certificates and requests from academies, trade magazines and gastronomic guides. Today it is one of the most popular restaurants in the Levante and has also been awarded a slow food prize for its care for ingredients.

U Pescou is not your average farinata (chickpea cake) place, although farinata is without doubt the pride of our trattoria, with all its traditional Genoese flavour, crunchy at the right point and very tasty, but the menu on offer is rich in seafood and meat, with recipes from the best traditions.
